Cheti Chand

Cheti Chand is the New Year festival of the Sindhi community, celebrated in india and pakistan and also worldwide in honor of Jhulelal, the patron saint and spiritual leader of Sindhis.

It falls on the first day of the Chaitra month (March–April) in the Hindu lunar calendar, usually a day or two after Ugadi and Gudi Padwa.
