Chilakamarti Lakshmi Narasimham

Chilakamarti Lakshmi Narasimham an Indian Telugu poet, playwrite, novelist, author, journalist, social reformer. He got titles ‘Mahakavi’, ‘Kala prapoorna’. One of the pioneers of Telugu literature and the development of modern Telugu drama. It is a rare thing in the history of Telugu literature that his play Gayopakhyanam, which he wrote at the age of twenty-two, sold more than one lakh copies.
