Edwin Lutyens
Edwin Lutyens (Edwin Landseer Lutyens) a British architect.
He played a key role in designing New Delhi, the capital of India. He designed the Viceroy’s House (now Rashtrapati Bhavan), one of his most famous works. He also designed India Gate, a war memorial in New Delhi. The central part of New Delhi, including its grand boulevards and structures, is named Lutyens’ Delhi in his honor.
