Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy an Indian telugu writer, social reformer, rationalist, linguist, historian, teacher. Father of spoken Telugu language movement. ‘Kaisar-i-Hind Medal’ recipient. He the titles ‘Rao Saheb’, ‘Kala Prapoorna’. Telugu Language Day is celebrated on his birthday.
