International Homebirth Day
International Homebirth Day is observed annually on June 6th.
It is to recognize and celebrate the choice of giving birth at home with the support of trained professionals like midwives or doulas. This day also promotes awareness around birth autonomy, maternal rights, and safe, respectful maternity care.
