The Old Parliament House in India was inaugurated in New Delhi.

The Old Parliament House, officially known as the Samvidhan Sadan, in New Delhi, India, was built between 1921 and 1927.

It was inaugurated on January 18, 1927, by Lord Irwin, the then Viceroy of India.

The building was designed by British architects Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker.

The third session of the Central Legislative Assembly was held in the building on January 19, 1927.

The first two sessions of the Central Legislative Assembly were held elsewhere in New Delhi, before the Old Parliament Building was completed.
