Ray Tomlinson
Ray Tomlinson (Raymond Samuel Tomlinson) an American computer programmer. Inventor of ‘Electronic Mail’ (EMail). He used the @ sign to separate the user name from the name of their machine, a scheme which has been used in email addresses ever since.
