Sarla Thukral

Sarla Thakral an Indian pilot, painter, designer, businesswoman. First Indian woman to fly aircraft. She was the first woman pilot to fly in a traditional saree. After one thousand hours of flying, she became the first woman in the country to obtain ‘A’ grade license. She was only 21 years old at that time.
