World Spinal Cord Injury Day

World Spinal Cord Injury Day or SCI Day is observed annually on September 5th.

It is designated by the International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) since 2016.

The day aims to raise awareness about spinal cord injuries (SCI), their causes, prevention, and the challenges faced by those living with SCI.

It also promotes inclusion and supports preventive measures to reduce the incidence of SCI.
