Lanzante-Limited was officially incorporated under the name ‘Sleaford Limited’ on 22 December 1988, as per the UK’s Companies House registry.

Lanzante’s logo is an image of the Hindu god Ganesha, which was recommended to Paul by George Harrison of The Beatles.

It was rebranded to Lanzante-Limited on 23 May 1994.

However, Paul Lanzante (Pasquale Lanzante) began the business in the 1970s, focusing on restoring and preparing historic cars, indicating that the company’s operations predate its formal incorporation.
