International Taekwondo Day

_{Taekwondo Day is celebrated on September 4th every year to commemorate the day in 1994 when the International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided to include Taekwondo in the Olympic program. The World Taekwondo (WT) assembly also designated September 4th as International Taekwondo Day in 2006 to promote the sport and increase interest in it. In 2008, it became a national anniversary in Korea.}
